What you can do

  • Track groceries by freshness and keep a shopping list.
  • Save recipes, plan the week, and follow cooking steps.
  • Explore a sample kitchen before adding an API key.
  • Export and import a backup from Settings.

Get started

  1. Open Simmer and choose Explore a sample kitchen to try the seeded recipes.
  2. For your own receipts and AI recipe suggestions, add your Anthropic API key in the app.
  3. On a supported mobile browser, use its Install app or Add to Home Screen option.

Release information

Web app v1.0.0. The live preview opens the same app available from Open Simmer.

Kitchen data is stored in this browser. AI receipt and recipe requests use Anthropic; barcode lookups use Open Food Facts. AI features need a key and an internet connection.

  2. Open the file. If Android asks, allow this browser or file manager to install this app, then follow the installer.
  3. Open Connectable. Allow microphone access when you choose speech input; available speech services vary by device.

Android preview v0.3.0. This download contains the ARM64 build only.

  3. Open HF Live Theme, adjust your palette and motion, then choose Set live wallpaper. Home and lock screen choices depend on your phone's picker.

v1.1.0 is the current website download. v1.0.0 is retained below as an earlier development build.
